Privacy settings and processing location answer different questions.
KeyVox does not send recorded speech to a transcription server. It needs a connection for setup tasks such as downloading a model, but dictation can then work offline.
Aqua Voice says transcripts may be retained by default to improve its model unless Privacy Mode is enabled. Team plans can enforce that mode, and Enterprise adds zero-data-retention controls. Aqua Voice also publishes a Trust Center and SOC 2 Type II status.
