One Dictation Workflow for Mac and iPhone
Talk instead of type on both of your Apple devices, with no account to create and no audio sent away for transcription.
KeyVox makes it easy to talk instead of type on both Mac and iPhone. Hold a key on your Mac, or tap the microphone on the KeyVox iPhone keyboard, then speak naturally.
Your speech is turned into text on the device. You do not need to create an account, and your personal dictionary can stay in sync through your Apple iCloud account.

Hold, Speak, and Keep Working on Mac
KeyVox stays ready while you work in your usual Mac apps. Hold your chosen key, speak, and release it when you are done. KeyVox turns your speech into text and places it where you were writing.
During setup, KeyVox asks for microphone access so it can hear you and Accessibility access so it can place the finished text in other apps.
Once setup is complete, your Mac handles the dictation itself. You can write by voice without sending your recording to a transcription service.
Dictate From the KeyVox Keyboard on iPhone
On iPhone, the KeyVox keyboard puts dictation and Vibes within easy reach while you write in other apps.
The setup guide walks you through adding the keyboard, allowing microphone access, and turning on Full Access so the keyboard can work with the KeyVox app on the same phone.
Full Access is an Apple setting for custom keyboards. It does not create a KeyVox account, and KeyVox does not use it to send your recordings away for transcription.
Keep Your Words With You
Your personal dictionary and supported preferences can sync through your Apple iCloud account. Add an important name or term on one device and it can become available on the other.
You can set up each device in the way that feels best for you. There is no separate login to remember.
iCloud helps keep your saved words together. Your actual speech is still turned into text on the device you are using.
