Can KeyVox Dictate Into Any App?

KeyVox works in many places where you already type. On Mac, click a writing area, hold the KeyVox trigger key while you speak, and release to stop. On iPhone, open the KeyVox keyboard, tap its microphone, speak, then tap again to stop.
Use it for emails, messages, notes, documents, forms, AI chats, and even an active Mac terminal prompt. KeyVox adds editable text and leaves the final Send or Return action to you.
How to Use KeyVox Where You Already Type

On Mac, Hold to Talk
Click the place where you want to write, hold your KeyVox trigger key, and speak. Let go to stop recording. KeyVox creates the completed text and inserts it together as normal text.
Keep the same writing area selected until the words appear. KeyVox needs Accessibility permission so it can place those words in the app you chose.
On iPhone, Open the KeyVox Keyboard
Tap a writing area, switch to the KeyVox keyboard, tap the microphone, speak, then tap again to stop. KeyVox creates the completed text and inserts it together. Full Access must be turned on so the KeyVox keyboard can work with the main KeyVox app on your iPhone.
You Stay in Control
- KeyVox adds the words. It does not press Send, Return, or submit a form for you.
- Read names, numbers, links, and important details before sending.
- If words do not appear, tap the writing area again and check that KeyVox has the permissions it needs.

Can KeyVox dictate into a Mac terminal?
Yes, including prompts used by tools such as Claude Code. The text stays in the prompt until you press Return.
Why does the KeyVox keyboard disappear in a password field?
Apple does not allow custom keyboards in secure text fields. iOS switches to a system keyboard to protect that input boundary.
