How to Do It on Mac
If Claude and KeyVox try to use the same key, choose a different trigger key in KeyVox settings.
- Open Claude and click its message box.
- Hold your KeyVox trigger key and speak.
- Let go to stop recording. KeyVox creates the completed text and inserts it together in the box.
- The message stays in the box until you send it.
- Press Send when it is ready.
How to Do It on iPhone
KeyVox works on iPhones running iOS 18.6 or later. Once your words appear in Claude, Claude controls that text even before you press Send.
- Open a Claude conversation and tap its message box.
- Switch to the KeyVox keyboard.
- Tap the microphone, speak, and tap again to stop. KeyVox creates the completed text and inserts it together.
- The text stays in the box until you send it.
- Tap Claude’s Send button.
